The past weekend was spent performing in the Nutcracker. As many of you know this is a whole family affair. All the kids perform and we all help out with sets, music, anything that needs to be done. It is a lot of work but we love the experience and the kids love to perform!
Davis and Danny (his cousin) were inseperable during Nutcracker! They always have a great time together. We don't have a day go by without him asking for Danny to come and play!

Cal spent a lot of time in this position. He got really sick of pack n play! I also carried him around in a hiking backpack. He loved being able to see all the kids and I loved being able to have my hands free to change costumes, sets etc.

Funny Boys

Since school we find that we have a lot of time on our hands...

Cal LOVES to climb on everything, the couch, the chairs, the table, the counters... EVERYTHING! This was the first day he figured out how to do this but... Yes there is a but, he did not know how to get down. Me being the best mom ever I teach him a lesson. At least it is a funny lesson!

Lillie at the Dentist

We recently had dentist appointments. Lillie finally will sit in the chair. She has overcome her fear and will let them actually look at her teeth, clean them, and give her the floride. Yea Lillie!

Park Days

We found a new park in Lee's Summit, thanks to the play group! The kids have had fun imagining they are pirates. Cal is constantly getting off the boat and someone has to "swim" over and rescue him!

Haircut Time

I know that Cal is blessed to have a head full of hair and it was time to get rid of it!!! It was so crazy long we could have put it in cute little pony's (we didn't of course because he's a boy...)

Davis Whistling

Davis has learned to Whistle

Grannie has taught Davis to Whistle with his fingers. He is insistent that he is whistling...and he is very loud! We blame it all on Grannie!!! Too bad she does not live closer so we can send the nosy one to her!

Cal's Attempt at Crawling

Cal will be 7 months old on March 6... He is getting big, right now he weighs about 23.5 pounds, to translate into clothing sizes- he wears the 18 month tops but is still able to wear the smaller 12 month pants. All my boys have short legs, they get that from their dad.

He has mastered the sitting position and is even able to get out of it without crashing. He is almost able to go from his belly up to a sitting position but not quite there yet.

We have just gotten over being sick. Cal had the croup/RSV/Ear Infection combo! Let me tell you it was great! No sleep for anyone!
We are finally feeling better I feel like I am slowly getting caught back up!

Alycia's Baptism

Alycia turned 8 in January.... Wow I cannot believe that she is 8! Everyone says it goes so fast and it really does. We had a wonderful day, My parents and Aunt Rebecka came out from Utah... YEAH! We had such a great time with them and we (the kids) loved riding in the mini!!!!!
